Hi all.

I am looking at lower protient diet for my green terror and came across this food and wondering if you think it's good enough to feed as a staple.

Obviously I have a variety of other foods which I will still mix into his diet.

Just wanted to hear your thoughts.

This has become a staple for my L330's, BN's , L240's and Xanto . I supplement with yams, mussels, prawns and Zukes.. BTW how big is your GT these are 14MM and thick?

I've posted about this NLS product a few times over the past year. IMO nothing else currently on the market compares to the variety of aquatic based plant matter that's found in this food. It comes in wafers, but even better it comes in pellets, so need to break up large thick wafers.

"Unlike most herbivore diets which rely on a single source of seaweed such as Kelp, each AlgaeMAX pellet contains a diverse range of aquatic vegetation including a whopping 9 types of algae and seaweed."

I personally don't believe that there is another aquatic plant based food, homemade or otherwise that has the nutritional profile, that is primarily based on aquatic plant matter, as this formula.

Ingredients Algae; Chlorella, Ulva Seaweed, Red Seaweed, Kelp, Spirulina, Wakame Seaweed, Whole Antarctic Krill, Giant Squid, Whole Fish, Eucheuma cottonii, Spinosum Seaweed, Chondrus crispus, Whole Wheat Flour, Omega-3 Fish Oil, Alfalfa, Astaxanthin, Capsanthin, Zeaxanthin, Vitamins

I used northfin veggie formula pellets for my Paratheraps bifasciatus, I like the product and saw good results.
