nostril missing... will it grow back?

At the foot of the cross
I just noticed that one of the nostrils of my koliba was missing. Might have been during a little tumble with the other polys in the tank. Will it grow back? It is just weird looking at him with only one nostril. Thanks in advance.
 
it should grow back, not 100% of the time though. oftentimes they will grow back if its a recent occurrence. but if its been like that for a while, then it may not.
 
If its going to grow back you should notice regrowth in about a week
 
Same thing happened to my african knifefish when I bought him and looks like it didn't even happen.

My endlicheri started growing back her barbels only after half a year. Its now half way through getting back to her full length.

Is there any redness in the area?
What else is in the tank?
