:swear: Today I did a major water change to catch up since one of my female guppies died the other day. Like most of you know I got a little guppy fry when I got my fish. Well after I changed the water I could not find french fry (my neice named my fry lol). I looked in the water bucket and did not see him I moved the castle still not there and I even moved one of the plants, still no were.
Then oh no I started to think I covered him with rocks when I moved them around. I moved them around still no fry. I even checked the filter, again no fry.
:( I was so attached to my little french fry. Can any one else think of anything else I can do to look for him.
Oh I also think he is to big for the others to eat. So hopefully that did not happen.
Thanks for listening to me rant!

If they did eat him since he was bigger wouldn't there be some of him still in the tank.

 I keep looking in the tank and finally found french fry but it was to late he was died. I did clean in the spot wereI found him, I just hope I did not hurt him with the gravel cleaning thing. I am just going to try and think that I did not do it that maybe he just died on his own. I should have moved him before I cleaned but I had not seen him so maybe it was already to late.
Who knows what happened but I know know to move any fry out of the tank beofre I clean the gravel.

Did you start out with arowanas and red tail cats?

If you don't want to help, then don't. Why bash on someone who decided to keep different fish than you? Yes, this site is based around preds, but there are TONS of people here who keep "feeders", myself included. Jump off of your high horse and lose the attitude. I think its sickening.

I sooooo totally agree with Rallysman. That was a very mean thing to say. A fish is a fish no matter what size it is. I think the majority of us think of our fish as pets, and it always sucks when you lose a beloved pet. I am sorry to hear about your loss.:(

:iagree: If you read it and it says guppy and you don't care about guppies, don't trash the thread, just ignore it. We all have our preferences, and there is no reason to trash and derail a thread due to your own opinions. Just my $.02.

Thanks everyone but the idiot (messiner) that had to talk down on me. Your the one that took your time to put others down and try to make me feel bad for keeping fancy guppies that by the way I do not see as feeders.
I just think it is so sad when adults act like little childern, I guess some people never grow up. I am just happy I did not have to go to school with you. If you act this way as an adult about a fish forum, hate to see how you act about more important day to day life issues.

And yes I was very attached to my fish and upset because these are my first ones and have only had them 2 weeks.

 Never mind Messiner maybe you were just acting your age because it says your 15 so I see now that you were just acting your age. I am suprised they let kids your age on here. No offense.
