I haven't seen a Nigerian endli label for a while. Have you? Think they have been refined to a more specific catch locale. Just a guess. I could be wrong.
Toyin said they are readily available still (rather common).

Just opinion here. Nice sp. Faranah u got there. Since, polypterus sp. faranah 'Dabola Type' term (green variation) is no longer used by certain dealers. Believe it to be 'Broken Stripe' if it to be referred to whom u got this poly from. Once again, just opinion in this friendly forum :-)

Thanks, I hope the patterns show through after it settles in. The fish is mean so I pulled to mopani out to see if the lack of territorial items would settle it down. I will try and get the fish into the big tank Fri evening or Sat.
 
Im not really sure if its a sp.faranah dabola type but it looks more similar to what vancouver has than what Hao old faranah lap.
