Well the new guy must be comfortable enough since it started eating in the big tank like it has always been there.
Started on really good water for the ansorgii and did a 25% this morning and another in the evening. I am also trying to beef it up with powerfeeding for a bit. Thinking to turn up the temp a couple degrees and really see if I can get the thing to just take off in growth. Well at least as much as can for an ansorgii.

Faranah lap in the 300 now so any updates will be in my tank updates post.
Ansorgii update.
The Ansorgii looks much better with the bloody tips all healed up on the side fin. It is slowly filling back in but not 100% yet. This guy is super calm and mellow and does not seem to react or freak out like some polys do with activity outside the tank. He will watch me but just sit there. It is feeding well on tilapia. I put in a pile at night and next morning all gone and its got a tummy bump. I have been doing two 25% water changes a day to try and get the fish healing up, seems to be working well but the side fin was shredded pretty badly by the lap. Im hoping to get the fish into the 300 maybe by the end of this week... will keep you guys updated.

Not a lot to report. It looks like an ansorgii, lol. It does look happy.
Checker board pattern or Chess board? I was thinking of naming it Rook because of the Chess board pattern, lol.

It has no moves, its a lump. Maybe just name it board (like the chess board) because it just seems bored all the time.
For some reason I cant name either lap. Koliba and Faranah are unnamed
