The leaves can be potentially toxic. Although I have never had a problem, nor heard of anyone.

I used pathos for a while, it was ok, but it kept trying to climb the wall and leaving marks.

I didn't notice much nitrate reduction so I took it out.

Plant growth is a direct result of nitrate absorption. Whether you noticed a difference or not is not really relevant to the properties of plant growth.

You state that plants growth is a direct result of nitrate absorption.

In the same sentence you say that plant growth is not relevant.

I put pothos in, they grew really well for 3 weeks them they all died....
