Sounds like you had a productive day of fishing. Any tips on places/techniques? Live/artificial? I just went fishing today... Damn it was cold and didn't catch anything but a bunch of perch and rock bass. Sucks..

carp are easy to catch. just fish off the bottom with nightcrawlers, corn, or some kind of smelly bait (catfish bait).

i catch carp with my hands at the local marina you feed them food and they all come up then i bicep curl one and pull it up then put it back but now they have got stricked and dont allow it not like they dont have anough little bastards.

yeap phantoms right. even chicken heart or anything that stinks will do.
its fightng them in and finally landing them is the tough and most enjoyable part.
im proud to say i landed this carp in about an hour or so and landed it in with no net. only bare hands and muddy feet. thus the shorts in the pic lol

I used to catch grass carp in my grandma's pond on bread...
just hooked a chunk of bread and tossed it out where I could see it feeding and waited, but that was only when the bass wouldn't bite.

well carp fishing must be a bit more challenging in the uk because they are so used to sweet corn they dont hardley take it you need to use boilies if you want to catch much over here.
