Figured it's been awhile... this thing grows on par w/ my catfish grow-outs >.< and he's developed quite a dislike for the fire eel.

Not sure.. wanna say he looks like a kannume but the pics I've looked at for reference don't quite look right eye/mouth/head lengths/sizes ect just seem off abit.
 
I've been wanting one of these for a long time. However, I've been hesitant. I've always worried about their hardiness (or lack of ) and I've feared an extremely slow growth rate. I have yet to hear of anyone having long term success with them. I hope to see more of yours though. Maybe this thread can convince me to go for it.
