What else are you going to put them with? If you provide enough territories you would be fine getting a group of 6.

they would be with a sev 6 silver dollars and some upper jaw polys and theres a good amount of rockwork toward the back and open sand in the front

I would think the poly and sev would be enough with them. Acarichthys get pretty big. Never been a fan of SD's and these fish will steal the show from them anyway.

Thanks man. I would reccommend them to anyone with experience in the geophagine. These are great fish to grow out so don't shy away from juvies.

yea i think once they get big i will get rid of the sd's
