Yeah I have heard about they safety issue.

You should sell it and buy two CZ-82s! You cant go wrong with an accurate (has a polygonal barrel instead of lands and groovers), double stack, compact, SUPER nice DA/SA (actually the SA has a pretty good amount of creep and will probably feel like crap compared to a 1911 but the DA pull is just wonderful) pistol for about $200! Cheap to shoot too!

That's the problem. When I say I LOVE the way it shoots I really do. If this gun had no safety issues I would never think about selling it. It just gets old having to take it 3 hours away to get it fixed.

Then why is it legal to have pistol AR's and AK's?

Steel core 7.62x39 has been banned by the ATF in the early 90s or late 80s due to the new AK pistols being made. Luckily the ATF has yet to ban steel core 5.56.

This is also the reason why the ammunition that the FN FiveSeven and P90 was originally designed for was banned. The SS190 cartridge is capable of and was designed to defeat body armor. The round originally was available to civilian sales and then banned after a year or two. Now owners of the VERY expensive FN FiveSeven and P90 rifles have nothing more then high dollar .22mag plinkers.

Thats a nice piece you have there, Don.

We need a gun thread.:D

I didn't know that SS190 cartridge was ever available to civilians. Stupid gun either way, 9mm Apammo does the same thing, causes more damage and it's cheaper.

Just because it's the cool thing to do, my CZ75B

The SS190 was available to civilians when it first came out. I use to live five minutes from KY imports (a very large importer of guns/ammo/parts) and I remember them selling it and right after it was banned, the price went up so much. I saw some for sale not too long ago and it was approaching $5 a round! :WHOA:

9mm < ss190 cartridge. But 9mm > then the 'sporting' 5.7 loads for sure. By the way I love CZs, back when the CZ-75s where less then $400 they were a BARGAIN. I love my CZ-82!
