Not for Arachnophobes

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
All indigenous species are protected, so you can't catch em or keep em

Although, there could be more poecilotheria with the tarantula hobbyists in Europe than there are in the wild in India.

Especially the poecilotheria metallica and poecilotheria regalis
Interesting.

How big were these, we have a few hunstman that get 4", buggers like the damp bathrooms at our estate.

They were 3-4" easy, most info puts their body length at 20mm, but they were definitely well over that. We keep getting these guys near our front door. Much smaller, but still in the 2" range.

Cool TwoHedWlf TwoHedWlf why not make a set up for them?

Because after smashed them multiple times with a log they decided to get up and leave.

I'm terrified of little spiders but don't mind tarantulas. The only exception is those cute-ass little jumping spiders, they are adorable.
Yeah, the jumping spiders remind me of tiny tarantulas.

Same here

Having lived in Australia, you’ll basically have plenty of pet spiders whether you want to or not lol...

Only problem is some of those buggers are more likely to kill you than others and seeing huntsman with 6-8” leg span isnt un-common...

Just yesterday I was visiting one of our estate homes, went to the bathroom and there were three big huntsman spiders running around, had half a mind to bring one home.

Its all fun and games till you forget to check under the toilet seat in the middle of the night when going to take a dump and suddenly feel something touch your bum...
