I’ve got baby cherry shrimps, they are super tiny, I counted about 10, not sure how long they have been in the tank until I noticed them. Hope I didn’t suck any out last weekend during the water change.

I didn’t even know my female was berried. I’ve been checking and could not see eggs bc my females tails are too deep a red to see through.

You will soon be over run with them. Cherry’s will breed until they plateau, at that point they will turn cannibal. To avoid this make sure you are feeding enough and changing enough water.

They are only in a 5g tank. All extras will be sold and moved into other tanks as feeders.

I will do a trade with someone else in a few months to ensure gene diversity as well:

Thanks for the warning, I had no idea they turned into cannibalizers

Well the little guys are about 4 weeks old (that’s just a guesstimate) and they have doubled and tripled in size. I counted in the 30’s last week and ended up selling a group of 10. I still have a 20+ group left growing.

The glass is dirty as I only clean it twice a year roughly. Also posted is an adult female for size comparison. I’m hoping they end up being as dark red as the mother...the male wasn’t very colourful (which I know it typical for males)
