well as far as where to get them i much prefer to give as much of my money to lfs (as we all should) or there wont be any. these guys have it tough between your mega stores, pet and department and the online guys many of them are having trouble making it. i am really trying to get my local guy to find me what i want even if it costs the same (would be great if he could get them from rapps) in the end i will go where i need to to get what i want oh and it will be lubrigus all the way

people roun here would much rather go to the lfs then the chains! the chains have the worst quality and least diversity! lfs are much better here!

Lugibris all the way. The Acuts are a nice looking pike also, but the only place I have found them so far where they have some available is in the UK.
I also always try to purchase from lfs. Let the money stay in town. if possible. Plus I would rather have a lfs where I have built a rapore with make some money and in my last instance save me on shipping.

That's funny because I was just jokin with someone on how dividers dont really work with pike. Although I'm going to try again when ever I get this Male TR in.

Im in the cincta hunt with taz. As for what I have pikewise I will NEVER hold out on any of yall. I had an extra xingu1 till Mr. johanna somehow knocked down a plexiglass partition and sent him to his maker, I mean beat the living s#!t out of it and I found it belly up on the bottom not 5 minutes ago. Now I just have all those juv svenis that Im waiting to pair up, and a couple of FAT female Bcrawlers. I am willing to part with my adult female sveni (see post your sveni pics thread) but Im in socal and shipping is a pain. You prolly want big *** Lugubris brutes anyhow. Maybe join the cincta hunt with me and Taz.

Salty and me have some traveling plans to hit 2 LFS in the area on working hours if we can swing it! One LFS is in Missouri just outside of St.Louis that stocks alot of tank busters and has several 6' holding tanks.
The other is in Alton,IL and specializes in SA/CA cichlids. I will take pics of fish at both stores and put them in the threads to see if anyone finds something their looking for once we get the chance to go on AQUA SAFARI.
