not so peaceful peacock eel

Sorry you lost some of your fish, I have a tire track eel and what I thought was too big for him to eat was proven wrong cause he is only 7-8 inches and will happily take down 3 12 inch earthworms and still give me puppy dog eyes!

thanx and i was shocked to see my peacock eat 4 5" angle worms, i figured that the fish were to fat for it cause worms can be flatoned and munipulated to fit in the mouth...

The only fw eels I have that won't happily mow down any fish small enough to fit in it's mouth are my fire eels. my TT and striped peacocks eat anything that is even questionably small enough to fit in their mouths.

Sorry to hear about the losses though. =(

mines nasty tooo mine killed 2 salmontail catfish that were about 2/3 the size of the eel

funny thing is i have added another male fancy guppy, 2 mollies, there are baby guppies in the tank also and it hasn't touched the last neon and last cardnal or the 2 darters...crazy eel...now it likes mainly angle worms...
