Wow! I thought concrete is the result of sand mixed with cement? How did that happen? It can only harden exposed to air not underwater and if mixed well. I do not understand.

I appreciate everyone tolerating my rant, I really was just venting. After careful thougth I have realized that the likelihood of the bags being mislabeled is highly unlikely but they were in the wrong place. Regardless I must have misread which is my fault. It was not completely hard but hard enough where I had to chisel pretty hard. It took several hours so at the end it was especially difficult once it started setting better. I have learned my lesson and am in the process of cleaning it out. After talking to a guy at work I have rinsed off in vinegar and am rinsing the tank as well to help neutralize the lime in the concrete. I wish I had have taken pictures but my wife had the camera, I was covered in concrete, and in a brief fit of rage not thinking well. On a side note I have learned to read better and that concrete can create some nasty burns. Ill post them tonight when I get the picture of my new Bacu cat up in the catfish section.

That's some seriously bad luck. Hope it all works out. Everyday is just another learning experience, right...
