yeah, but most lfs will not be able to accommodate them, and they will most likely get sick and die.

Correct, my LFS "big" tank is a 70 long which always has oscars, giant plecos and about 8 other medium size fish. Although I did get my jag from said tank. :)

most lfs "large tank" is either a 55 rack or marineland 75 displays w or w/o dividers. a 75 will be fine till theyre around 10", but after that you will need an upgrade real soon. not to mention that their "large tank" is usually overstocked and not kept up like an overstocked tank should be. they probably only do WC once every week or 2. thats not nearly enough

Thinking about it.
The girlfriend already named him Jett Jaguar, her Godzerra and the pleco Tokyo.
:)

I will most likely keep them in the 75 untill the 6' X 18" tank is cycled, try them in there and see if there happy.

If they look cramped, which they probally will be, then I'll start looking for someone with a monster sized tank for them whos willing to give them a good home. Hopefully have some fish to trade with me too.

It's hard to know whats best.
They could be best off in the 6foot X18" then in someone's established monster tank where "who knows" how they will act with other fish?

i would keep them try to accommodate them if not trade them down to a suitable home
