speechless,no wait,just remember,these ppl are from the same planet as that thing that washed up on the beach.They dont think like us,they need to be stopped,but how?The same way we send religious groups over to countries to speak on God and such,why dont we send groups to do the same with this stuff.Then secretly go wee wee in their drinks!!They would pry like that too.Can these guys not just get viagra or what.
The human race is so infinitely diverse. People will continue to squirm and quarrel over animals used for alcohol not realizing that there are still places on earth where peoples societies are based on cannibalism or otherwise. Nothing surprises me anymore, it only gives thirst for my interest in the evolution of cultures and their traditions and beliefs.
How ignorant are you to bring costs of these animals into the equation? What is their worth to you? Maybe $2 K a peice and a combined $50 for whatever else is in there. These are prices dictated by your people, for these animals in your country. The person who put this potion together puts no high pricetag on these animals. They are no more than the rabbits, rats or racoons that invade your suburban homes.
Oriental countries hold tight their traditional methods, and have lived and died by them for many many centuries since modern medicine has been in practice. Yet many of these cultures still contain populations which far outlive that of North Americans. We pump pill after pill of unnatural toxic drugs into our body here, and then we persecute and shame far away cultures for utilizing something that the earth has provided for them to use. Many of their traditional remidies are effective, many are not. The same can be said for modern drugs and medicine.

well the fact is man,we buy these things because they are beautiful to us and we love the actions ,movements and habits of the creature.They are rare for us to find or afford.It is an animal that we respect along with its environment.They can live for many years and have just as many good days as a pet dog.They are smart little creatures.We go out of our way to recreate a perfect environment for them in our homes and to match its natural diet as much as possible.We become attached to them just like other pets and our kids get attached to them.They get used to feeding from you or at least alot of monitors do,blues I think are a bit more shy but thats besides the point.For us,its a wonderful little animal and as far as eating cows,no one said they enjoy that fact.Its the fact that lizards that we love are going into a mix that is by far less needed than a berger.So before insulting us for being bothered by it,witch I just cant see how you would feel in your heart to do in the first place,try to see why it bugs us please.
I'm a member of this site am I not? Obviously I understand our intention when putting hundreds of dollars into a 6" fish that in other countries would be a measly scrap of food for the day to barely feed their starving family. It's not about blue monitors... or lizards... or anything man... It is about the utter corruption of everything. Everything man. How can we so easily dismiss the acceptance of a practices that originated millenniums ago... Drinking Scorpion Vodka to aliviate high blood pressure and purge toxins from the body.Ox head soup. Indonesian fried monkey toes. Seagul wine. Be it a medicine or a food, how can you say it is wrong for that use, but Okay to put in a glass cube in your home. Granted many practices are corrupted themselves by blackmarkets and have become inhumaine, but it does not lessen their purpose. Rhino horn was used as a medicineat one time, now with international trade and more scientific study, buffallo horn can be used instead. Our culture is wasteful. We dismiss potential foods be it a species of animal, or part of the body of the animals we eat. Everything has a use for something, but not in our culture.jason longboard;2038269; said:
