Blood parrots are aggressive.

He said "not very aggressive" and in a lot of cases this is true... although there are some that are.. just like any other fish.. they are all different.. but really I don't think he'll have any problems mixing..

I must have been unlucky, never seen one of those fish that wouldn't chase. The BP I had never left anyone else alone. He was worse than my first goby.

When I first got mine, yes they were all the time... but now sweet as puppies... except when they are mating... or have layed eggs.. I stear clear of putting my hands in the tank..

Depends on the situation and and individual fish. If you are comparing a blood parrot to a neon tetra then yes they are aggressive. If you are comparing a blood parrot to a Jaq then no they are not. Cichlids in general are aggressive when compared to noncichlids with a few exceptions. In my tanks they are at the bottom of the pecking order.

Well, theyre in and he has checked them out but not harassing them constantly. I put in a little decoration cave so they do have another place to hide now. I have had a little pleco in there with him for a while and hadnt had any probs with them other than the occasional "hey bob what are you up to today" "Nothin much earl" Although my pleco's name is eugeine and my BP is Ponyo. My two loaches are lola and weenie. lol
