One of my small males finally decided to come out of hiding.

This last one looks like it is holding a mouthful of babies...beautiful fish.

Male He was breeding with the 5-6 inch female Livingstonii at the LFS that is why they sold him They were sick of pulling the fry to stop him and her from owning half of there 300 gallon Sow cube LOL

Not real showy if you have to fish breed and control three corner of your tank while 60 other young adult fish are in the fourth I thought it was funny

What a guy..He is so gorgeous.. love to have him...what do the females look like of the same species? Are you going to breed him eventually..

a lot like the male but with no color, like your ventus... most nimbos are that way...

The ones in the last two pictures have been breeding non-stop for a couple months now - I have one or two females holding now and have had around 5 or 6 spawns already.

The ones in the first two pictures haven't spawned for me yet - which is a bit discouraging but I'm still working hard at getting them to do it.

you have been busy... and i am sure the other ones will in time..probably still immature.. or just not quite ready..congradulations..
