My Channel is fairly active, especially during feeding time.
More active than a Rafael Catfish, but less active than a Cory Cat, lol.

If I do though I'll sell some of my channel to make room for maybe like 2 sturgeon. Has to be kinda fast though I don't want my channels eating the sturgeon though to.
Seriously? Cause that's not what I've been told I know they need carbs so koi food would be ok?what else though?
Channel Cats are a great choice for stocking a pond. They are very hardy, grow large, and do have commercial value as a food fish, or for aquarium enthusiast. You could feed them pelleted dog food and they would grow huge quickly. Also, if there is some flowing water, etc., I bet you could get them to spawn. Channel Cats are so competitive for food, no other fish would stand much of a chance in competing with them for food. There are albino channel cats that are more attractive / exotoc.
^that makes me want them more, have to order them Monday damn it.... So dried dog food+shrimp pellet= huge channel catfish fast!?
