They're hitting the bloodworms pretty hard right now, but not showing much interest in pellets. I'll keep trying with the pellets though. I'm just afraid to starve them for very long since they're so tiny!

do you have any tankmates? i got my johannas at like 2" and started feeding them bloodworms and feeder guppies. the rest of the fish in the tank were eating pellets. after a few weeks, the pike just started eating pellets, no starving or anything. i think watching the other fish eat the pellets kinda let them know if was food.

Yah, there are other fish in the tank. A gourami, some cories, 2 darters, a native killifish, and a platy. Hopefully they'll pick up on the pellets=food pretty quickly.
