for an Illustrious Breeder award, and Notable Academic.
(I tried to wade through the Awards stickies guide... but? zzzz, my attention gave out -Lol)
He may qualify for more than this> I don't know how many Gallons he keeps, or everything he does.
His breeding & knowledge of keeping many many many species is remarkable. His threads are always informative & responses to inquiries always backed with great level of detailed experience.

Granny, do you have a links you could share to the info? I'll help you through the nominations process but I'm not overly familiar with this member. You help me and I'll help you :)

Basically the way this is intended to work is you post up a member, say why he/she should get an award, then post a link to support the issuance of the award. Then staff votes yes or no and actions are taken as appropriate. Each award would have its own thread.

I did get a little long winded writing the stickies; sorry bout that. lol

yep I want to shine the light on his accomplishments, although he is pretty quiet.

not sure if I'm supposed to post links to threads or pm to mods?
I'm babysitting my 2 yr O g-grandson, soooo tried did a quick Nom before he arrived. I will lookup all the evidence (lol) when it's safe to take my eyes off him. just typing this, he has opened old fragile books, dropped 'em under kitchen table, and ...... O he has a toy hammer :-/

notho2000 posts vids & some pics, to show his breeding & stock collection with associated info on his experiences with them.

Just post up some links in this thread. The way this system is designed to work is that the entire process is public, so anyone who wants to know why a member got an award, they just have to click on it. Then, when you're looking at that member's award, the issue reason will be the thread in this section, where all of the evidence and discussion around that award is open for all to see. This way, we (the staff) can't play favorites. :)

I looked up notho2000 a little. He does seem to be a very valuable member with a lot of knowledge. I agree, there are likely some awards that he truly deserves.

My little guy is six months old and is just starting to get mobile. Its about time for me to start getting grey hair. :lol2:

wow i am impressed with this member

Notho2000 (Jim) is a great asset he is particularly active in the CA/SA section.

Holy cow! Outstanding work by Jim indeed.

He's definitely qualified for at least a bronze breeder award, though I suspect he might be worthy of much more than that. I'm honestly surprised those threads have gotten so little attention, they're great threads. He does seem to be specialized to the CA/SA section, so I think he should get bronze contributor as well.

Thoughts? I'd like to see a little more on what he's done with breeding.

Global endorsement. Jim you are a stud keep it up and thanks for contributing.

my little beastie boy fell down for quick zzz's, so I'M BACK. Ha
I only posted Jim's own threads here, which is somewhat lacking on my end of the research deal :-)

He's canuckian. might not be easy to pry other info out of him, like how many gallons he keeps, & species breeding history etc.
but obviously been dedicated at it for a while.
