hmm, well how did u get rid of that when it happened and how long does it take for it to start, i have noticed these on the sand for about 3 days, also if my fish stop rubbing does that mean there cured?

Just gravel vac them out and continue with the increased heat and salt. Then gravel vac again in a few days, and repeat, that should get rid of it.

Ich can stay in your tank for a while, it only really affects stressed or fish with low immune systems.

So do my wc like i do every thur, and gravel, then gravel again few days with no wc, and keep gravel vacing till i notice there gone completely...

Also ich is from stress correct like could be just from entering a new tank??

Yes. The bacteria that can form Ich are often in many tanks, but don't establish in non-stressed fish.

What they said... :) The ich can only be killed in the free swimming state (that's right guys??). The cysts are protected until it breaks out and takes off to attach to your fishy. Getting as many of those out of your tank before they hatch is always good, but you'll never get all of it. So, make sure you leave the temperature up and salt in the tank for a little while. I hear of people that are very successful with this method, but I just wanted to give you a heads up that there is an increasingly common (though still not usual) form of ich that is completely resistant to this methods.

Bumping up the temp and adding salt does not kill ich, it does how ever rapidly speed up it's life cycle causing it to dies out faster than it can do any damage. usually takes 24-48 hours for everything to die off.
