Wow!!!!!! Thanks guys; this means so much knowing it is picked by yourselves my fellow MFK'ers and not just the mods(as on another popular forum)
Got to give a big heads up to Camshaft as he really gave me a run for my money. There were easily 4 or 5 that could have taken it this month I was in good company(No. 17 I thought would win when I first saw it !!!!)

The tank....

It is a 255gal tank 84" long x 28" tall x 27" wide.....it really was a long project required complete re decoration of the room. I built the stand and canopy myself, then had the tank builders build the glass tank straight on to it.
Filtration is via 3 cannisters Fluval FX5, Eheim 2217(with in line 36 watt UV sterilizer) and an Aqua-Vital 1200

Current stock and sizes.....
1 Cichla Ocellaris(I think I owe quite a bit of the prize to this guy) 15"(got him 2 yrs ago at 1.5" !!!!)
1 x Silver Arrowana....shes around 18" now
2 x Red Oscar a mating pair they are around 12"
2 x Jack Dempsey 1m/1f both around 6"
1 x Veija Maculicauda(Black-Belt) 12"
1 x Veija Synspillium 15"
1 x C. Trimaculus 10"
1 x C. Uropthalmus 8"
1 x C. Manguanese(Jag) 9"(female)
1 x Cren. Johanna 11"
1 x C. Salvini 6"

3 x Silver Dollars(all ~ 6")

2 x Common Plecs both 15"
1 x Gibbiceps plec 16"
1 x Ornate Pim 7"
1 x Lima Shovelnose 12"
1 x M. Irwini 12"
1 x P. Ornatus ~ 12"
1 x P. Delhezi ~ 8"

Astronotus....Your fish should work ok appart from the African Mbuna, both these species are very aggressive and more importantly require very different water conditions to the SA/CA cichlids and your catfish. Get yourself another 55gal and put them seperate along with about another 10 Mbuna and you'll have yourself another great tank.....
