We loaded the trap with guppies today and caught 2" occel from the spawn pictured

Heres how we trap them, load around 1000 guppies in a clear home made trap, and the peacocks find the holes and cant swim back out, the school has split up now so the trap isnt loaded, when they are in a school you have to watch the trap it will fill up so quick!!!

John that is awesome. Id love to put my pbass in the pond at my parents house but it gets a little cold in the winter in northern ca. I can fish for large mouth but not them beuties. Nice colors on that 18''.

We can net them but it is much harder on the fish, the trap does no damage and it is the healthiest way to catch them, if they were in a smaller/shallower pond we could sain them but the pond they are in is around 12-15 feet deep.
