I usually have that tank about 80 degrees F. Its kind of an oddball tank at the moment. The fish from this thread shares the tank with a common whiptail catfish, an unidentified pleco (see my album), a redtail shark, and striped pike characin. The "striped pike" I ordered through the LFS and received at about the size of a household nail....which was a bummer, as I was expecting the 7" or so fish they had stocked before. Its too small to go with my other fish, so he's chillin' in a 29g for a bit.

Anyways....Because of the pike there have been feeder guppies in the tank. I've tried to feed the catfish small earthworms, cut up and whole. Other foods that I've used since that cat has been in there (some of the roommates have changed) : HBH Algae Grazers, HBH Super Soft Krill pellets, Tetra Min flakes, Aqueon bottom feeder tablets (my other cat and bichir love these), Hikari Masivore Delite, and some others I'm sure. Frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp as well. I guess that catfish eats something, sometimes, regardless of me catching it in the act, as its been several months now and it seems ok.....
