My O is always in different places around my 55. he's up to 8" now, and I can't wait to get him more room.

I've heard that they are healthiest in groups of six, but then again you need a 400 gal tank. Decorations? Just get some heavy rocks and driftwood. Plastic plants would be fine also.

here is a table of common aquarium sizes, with that retailer's prices.

for a single O, go with a 75 gal (48"x18"x21"). That would work for two as well, as long as their is no aggression (get both of them about 3", and raise them together. that should help avoid aggression). You'd be better off with a larger tank, though (lower maintenance). doulbling the amount of fish obviously doubles the amount of waste, resulting in double water changes and the necesity of more filtration, so a bigger aqurium is nice; if you have the room and the money.

I'd just decorate with rocks and driftwood. plants are just gonna be moved around. its irritating. if you do want plants, get the silk kind, with stone bases. those won't float to the surface when your Os decide to move them.

Its better to save money for a little while longer and get what you really want.

Thanks for your replies guys! Will consider all the options, but probably will buy 75 gal tank or just nothing, cause I don't want that poor fishy gets hurt or can't live happily life...

http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/member.php?u=28593BlliB, well I really haven't choose any Oscars yet, checked store in my town and they really had small range of fish, no Oscars, so I'll probably check other stores in other towns, will see. My plan is to get 1 or 2 Tigers, but I'll do it only after I have set up a really nice home for them, only then.
