Im sure you wouldn't have a problem keeping them miguel. There should be more EU captive breds within the next few years I imagine. Smart animals, have seen them "tamed" down and target trained. Make great display animals, they like sitting out.

Are they, behaviourwise very diff than Varanids?

From what I understand they are very similar to Argentine tegus

Strange. The guy that was selling it said it only wanted to stay in the pool with warmish water. That it hardly left aaid pool...i do not consider said guy to be knowledgeable, in any cass. Just a seller that simply wnats to pass the merchandise on...

I should be more specific, they are arboreal and aquatic more than anything but temperment tends be be similar to tegus. I'm not surprised that it's in water alot.
