Veterinary Assistant and starting college in the end of this month.

That's wonderful! I was in line to become a veternarian at one point, but I knew that I wouldn't be able to handle the grief and heartache that sometimes comes with it.

Indeed, from the side it might looks all nice and cute for someone who loves animals but its not as fun dealing with stupid owners the whole day, having to deal with very sick animals, running from surgery to surgery, and having to put down animals. You really have to love animals and understand that you have to be cold some times.

Another major problem is vet schools within US have thousands of people for like 60 spots, they do not bother looking at you unless you have 3.7+ GPA with already veterinary experience. And we are talking about taking every science class under the sun.

75 dollars an hour my dad gets so even 20 mins of work (i.e. unclogged a bad toilet) still gets 75 bux and i still get 10

i get free lunch free breakfast and free dinner but its 16 hours of work....... most of the time we sit in the office watching tv until the phone rings then get out to the truck and get to work

fact is my dad is the boss so i get job, ive learned alot with furnaces and sprinkler systems and some bad days roofing

btw- his rate is the lowest in town and he thrives buisness wise with more then 125k a year

miore then half goes to my mom who works as a parts inspector for pratt n whitney who racks up a bit of debt everyy month that he gets stuck paying for

working on getting my company started up building gaming and custom PCs and eventually rackmount servers other than that working on getting a bunch of certifications

I repo cars and trucks and rebuild transmissions...and sometimes I catch a bail jumper ( pays real good for that )

Software engineer. Nerdy, and can be dull at times. People are usually surprised at my job when they meet me, I don't really fit the computer nerd type. Pays well though so I can't complain. It's a good challenge most of the time though. Overall I like it.
