I love fishing striper, over here in Havasu, from november to march, is shad season.

they let you snag shad and you use the shad snagged and bleeding and wiggling as bait. awesome game fish

Awesome catches!!! The only thing is my sister beat you by 13" with a 52" Striper. We have pics don't worry but they are on photo paper but I'll take pictures of the picture lol. The girth was the size of her waste and was almost as tall as her lol. She is on the smaller side. She went on a charter and she has the record for the biggest Striper as of now on that charter.
