You can dose the mixture that way, or freeze little portions of the mixture and feed like frozen food.

Impossible to say, FH have such weak genetics that they are typically very prone to health issues, including sores on their heads, which may or may not be associated with Spironucleus aka Hexamita. Often secondary bacterial infections will surface so keep water super clean, and add a pinch of salt to help with osmoregulation from those open sores. Good luck.
