Now to see if the eggs hatch or not!

I am going to actually let the tank they are in 140g be their own little private idaho.

I will let the little fishies be a source of protein for the gar tank I maintain for the museum, they should make tasty treats.

I am very curious as to how the fry will look as they grow, I also have my blue line pike and a few other larger cichlids that would eat them fast

the one other thing I forgot to mention is that I have never really dedicated a tank so that 2 fish could safely rear their fry, so I am interested to see just how many of the fry will make it to grow.

I am going to leave the gold morph female in unless she decides to go hog wild and eat them all but I would figure the parents would not let that happen.

I pulled the gold morph female from the tank just now and will be putting her in my 230 community, did not like what I was seeing. The male jag would not let her eat, he kept bull rushing her thinking she was going for a fry when it was a pellet.

Will post up some pics, and the experiment will go on to see how many actually make it to juvi hood.
