Any tips on keeping these guys alive? I read that they die easily and with no apparent reason. Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Small NTT's do die from SDS more often then any other species Dats. If your NTT is going to die from this, there is not much you can do to stop it. The bigger they get the less likely they are to die from SDS. I have only experienced it with NTT's smaller then 2". This seems to be the size most people experience it, in regards to their Thin Bars

I think I recall you mentioning the med before but I forgot the name of it so would you tell us again?

My NTT was breathing fast, so I took him out of my community tank. I placed him in a bucket with some stress coat and a piece of driftwood he could hide under. I don't have another tank to put him in. Will this help or should I put him back in the comm tank.

Thats usually the beginning of the end for the NTT's. Rapid breathing, death.
