It shouldn't,I recently treated a fish with it while younger fish were in the tank the whole time and they were unaffected and are fine now.

Actually a retraction is due.....It does NOT say on prazipro's label to use half dose for freshwater.I was just looking at it and that instruction is on a bottle of another med that I have been using....Still,I think your fish should be fine as I have used it with young fish in the tank the whole time.
my lfs didnt have any the meds so i just did a 50% wc with stress coat and vitachem. he seems to be doing better and i think hes been eating again but not in front of me because the food seems to disappear
Does he still appear to be breathing heavy?....You may have to order some from an on line source.
nope hes more active now too and i just saw him eat which is good. it was probably the water parameters even though it was a newly established tank
