I think telescope eye goldfish are gross. Especially celestials. Im not going onto goldfish forums saying similar things.
This is the flowerhorn and other cichlid hybrids section. If people dont like big hump then dont get flowerhorn.

A lot of people (like me) just reply to thread that pops up on "New Posts". Its just other fish hobbyists expressing/sharing their personal opinion(s). Its not like people are putting down or insulting other people because their taste are different.

I'm not in favor of fh that have koks as big as a soft ball. As long it's size is proportional to it's body I think they look really nice

Well without inciting riot, my OP was to find out if they all got a massive nuchal hump, which ive gathered is down to genetics and good health mainly.

I am a relatively new member, and if I wanted to ask about FH I wouldnt ask it anywhere but the section marked "flowerhorn".

Wasn't my intention to bash FH or offend, if anything its my attraction to the fish that piqued my curiosity.

I'm afraid to talk KOK size now. I'll just use the word "hump"lol..I do like a gd size hump on kamfas cause many times they match the big features of the bulky body and full fantails. Many SRD's have smaller less full tails so the monster hump on these doesn't match the back half of the bodies like with kamfas imo. All about overall symmetry to me

there's a head shape, roundness , placement, and size quality that makes the fish look good too. Not a just Size. what yall know about that?

the more uglier it gets to more awesome it looks to me. hahah most First-prize winning fh in competitions have really big koks. ive nver seen one tht won becuz of its stunning colors. cheers !

because those competitions are dumb and only follow a trend. I like classic Trimac ZZs more than those competition crooked kok monsters
