My vote is for corns. They are often under-ratted but they are very neat snakes.

Ur in ny so u couldnt help me with the cat I want or I would second that. Pure breed cats are big money. I do mean big. Some breeds command few k each. Some snake arte more but I can guarantee if u breed the right types ud sell much faster than almost any snake. Egyptian mau.... :drool:
The diff variety of bobs(pixi, jungle, snow etc) and many others comand a huge price. When I almost bought the one I was gonna get she was 300(jungle bob) and she wasnt even polydactle. If she was and came from better blood( parents were only mid teens instead of the monster 20 plus) she would have comanded 4 or 5 times that price. My got prego so I didnt get her. She was a doll but it was 8 hour drive to get her.

Also, what I said was just in general.. no laws or skill taken into account. BTW retics, and burms are illegal in NY
 
not on the list but hognose snakes are cool. nice morphs small size great temperment and the have a hogs nose. ill be trying to breed mine soon
 
Wow I totally didnt know that burms and rectics were illegal in ny. Thanks for the heads up before I bought one. I think ill be staying with a crap load of different leo morphs, a couple different BCI morphs, and im actually thinking maybe either some white lip pythons or some womas. I love womas patterns.

As for the hognose I have thought about that too. They are good starts for those who want to keep venomous snakes which someday I will live where I can have a pair of eyelash vipers and a couple gaboon vipers.
