Do you mean that finally after all the boosting about how Brady is the best and that he cannot lose. He is a clutch player, and that any team or player we will like is over rated. Yes classless. How about we finally get to see these loud mouth people who like to go on and on eat some humble pie... It is classless because it is a bad taste in the mouth of the people who were talking the most trash... I for one am glad that they lost. I have listened to too many PATS fans talk trash all year. They refused to except that they could lose or that anyone else was a great player or team as well. (not all on this site). Everyone loves when their rivals lose...
Anyone who thought they couldn't lose was being ridiculous.... I watched their last playoff game and said to the wife, that if they play like that in the super bowl they are going to lose....
I am not a huge sports fan but do root for the local teams .. Between their last playoff game and the super bowl I might have seen the equivalent of a whole game , time wise. The B sox was the same way , I saw the last pitch in the last world series and maybe an inning in the one before.
None the less from what I saw the Pats didn't show up to win, or at least work at it. Maybe next year the will take it easy and shoot for the wild card so they can save some energy and enthusiasm for the big game if they make it...

Dunno why everyone was calling it an awsome game. Game didn't really start till the 4th then it was a game. Nice one Giants

I live and breath for my Boston teams, but I wasn't to confident coming into the Super Bowl with the way the Pats were ending the season versus the way the Giants were ending the season...talk about opposite sides of the spectrum.

That win over SD wasn't exactly cruising into the Super Bowl and considering the Giants defense had been insane and Manning was playing the best football of his life, the Patriots were going to have to bring their A game...and that sure as hell didn't happen.
Well, you can't win them all...now I'm just waiting for pitchers and catchers to report to spring training...GO RED SOX!!!

I think Brady needs some time off... I watched that 60 minutes special and felt that was another bad omen for the super bowl. Seemed that he lost allot of desire to be a pro player .... His comment whats it all mean , there has to be more to it than this.... I was like , Oh shnitz .. not what I wanted to hear lol...
I was think you have the life .. Stardom , money, winning team, a life people dream of., and maybe beyond many peoples ability to dream it for lack of knowing about such a life could exist....
Anyway I think there was some bad stuff leading up to the big game. Another was it was becoming the super star vs a team , like they were able to do for a while. No one player greater than the next ......
