We have had a period of nearly 20 years with a ban on pythons and boidae. It was an uphill struggle to reverse it, but we managed to do it in 2009.

Having said that, we have all the snakes in your list ( plus a couiple of the big scrub pythons from Australia ) as still forbidden, as well as venomous.

But it was worth it.

Do not give up on your fight!

edit: it came out a few months ago. but drop them an email...kids should not be reading this misinformation and fear mongering. i got a generic response to my email, but maybe they will get the hint if a few more come in.
