There's also a good place in Brooklyn- the corner of Coney Island Avenue and Avenue Y. I wanted to go to the ones near Chinatown when I was up in NY, but I never got around to it. The one in Brooklyn has adult FHs.

there is nothing you CANT get in NYC chinatown, you want it they got it. Yes... anything

True that and best of all you can hggle with the sellers most of the time i bought a metal sword for 10 bucks. I hope i can get some good prices on 4 inch females if they have any :) I need a female for the flowerhorn in my avatar.

Hi guys i just got back from china town they had allots of types of animals from turtles to frogs to rabbits. The frogs and turtles where for human consumption :(. As i walked by a fish market i saw large mouth bass and sunfish drowning in air the sellers threw them on the table so they could die sad and i saw a guy throw an eel onto a table and i felt so bad for it i did an impulse buy :) i bought it. Thing is the guy told me it was fresh water i put it in fresh water and added salt just incase. Its in a 10 gal hospital tank as it was beat up badly. I believe it to be an American eel. If anyone has any husbandry please let me know a link i have it in a 10 gal with 2 table spooons of aquarium salt and the temp is 70 degrees farenheit as where they had it the water was like 50 degrees.

It probably is an american eel. They also have yellow eels. You must have missed the pet stores then. Most street vendors in Chinatown sell live fish. They have small tilapia sometimes that are accidentally transported there. If you look through the tank of 2 pounders, you can find a juvenile (5 inches or so) that will go for like $2 bucks.
