i can get umlimited crawfish (lol) er crayfish which ever you call em but i don't know if i should try two will they be good food like a staple or once a week thing???? what is best kinda fish to feed aswell? i will keep forever before i feed them to my fish.....:nilly:

there isnt really good staple besides pellets except for vitamin injected foods! but if the crayfish is to big it will beable to hurt the o but but sometimes when the crayfish molts nomatter how big they are usually edible!

ok then in gonna try i'll get some lil ones. oh and i got another qestion umm i just got an ac110 ammonia remover how much will it help my o&fish it says its removes nitrite but is it effective????

yeah mine loves them no matter how big they are. i kept some in my community untill they fattened up from eating my other fish (dumb move on my part)

If they seem too big, I cut the claws off.

I feed my O's crayfish once a week. If I'm not mistaken they eat crustations in the wild don't they. ( Yeah, Yeah I know, what don't they eat ) Anyway they love em. And if they are to big I cut the pincher. I love the way they hunt them down. They have a plan to thier attack too. The albino takes them from the rear and the red gets them from the front. The two of them will polish off 10 in a hour or two.

omg umm i guess.! thats hardcore tho

umm my o just started to not like omega one all i did was change size of pellets and now he wont eat them.. well his does but not like he used to. he used too devower like six at once but now onluy eats them when he's rlly hugery!!! i was told to get full life spectrum so im gong to get that!!!

Don't let them spoil you. They are smart and will force you to be there slave and will start being picky with foods. When they get hungry enough, they will eat what you give.

As for the crayfish, yeah claws come off if too big but the oscars eventually learn to go from behind.....so smart they are!!
