i just put them in there and there still lerning there place...the reason my peacock is in my 90 is cause i have no were else to put him..... plus my o likes him! i know they need different water but i try to keep it relatively nutral at 7.5 7.0 p.h so its not that bad is it??????? but the only other place for him is in a long 20g 36x12x12 it has whytie in it.... and he HATES him so he'd try to kill my peacock... or with my baby p's but thatz not going to happen.

Howdy,

I stated that in one of your other posts, piranhagrowing_guy: Please be as specific as possible about your questions, comments, or concerns. That helps a lot!

All:
Please do not make fun of members because of their language skills. This is an international site, all ages, all social groups, all kinds of people. From PhDs to first-graders. We all love fish. If you cannot understand a question, please reply respectfully (and I think evilxyardxgnome did!). If you're ahead of the pack and understand more than others, please translate (as Stab did).

I am not sure why this post was reported  . Things are going well. Please stay on track and share the love for our hobby.

mmm as Danzig said seperate you O and Whytey from the firemouths. They do not needseperate tanks but need eggcrate or some other type of divider between them. If this is not what you were asking please specify.

Did any of you catch this "7.5 7.0" ? I'm concerned about the africans with such a low pH Do they seem to be okay?

Let me translate: He says that he figured out why his oscar is hiding. Its because of the firemouth pair going into the breeding mode. They are much smaller than the oscar but attack ferousiosly and at the same time, and so gain advantage over a fish twice their size. I am however not sure whay he is keeping african cichlids with the oscar and firemouths. Is he not aware of these fish requiring different water parameters? Perhaps something is lost in translation...? I dunno...

all will thrive in the same parameter

Test for nitrite and nitrate. Your levels are probably too high. If so, make sure to siphon the crap out of the gravel and take about 50% of the water out while you are doing the siphoning. Do this once a week. That should get them eating again.
