You could also do a Melanochromis auratus colony, or a single Sanchezi Piranha (depending on where you live) or like an Amazon forest biotope with small Tetras, Rams, Cories, Red Cap Geos, etc, with a mix of 70%white sand and 30% black gravel substrate, with a driftwood pile and Amazon Sword.

Female betta sorority (you forgot to memtion the frat house.)

Small FW puffer sp.

One 5 star general as wet pet (. . . one 5 star general as a wet pet?:ROFL:) Love your humor K.G.
Convict, jewel, firemouth, etc. pair

Peacock eel

Mouth-brooding bettas (Oh this is too much! :ROFL:Give the kid a break, will ya? You're killing me! ROTF/LMAO.)

Some small doradids huddled under a piece of driftwood so you can see them but they feel safe.

Small sp. of native fish.

Pond muck + sponge filter = FW freak show.

When do you begin work as a writer for Jay Leno or David Letterman? Better yet, Saturday Night Live?

If you have any actual reasons for not liking these ideas, please state them.

Betta sororities work very well with good cavework. And the morphs of female bettas available now rival that of the males. In a 30 gallon, you should be able to easily do ten females.

Five star generals are very responsive and make fine wet pets for a smaller tank. There isn't even a reason I can guess for you to have argued against this idea. I understand being ignorant of female betta groups, but I can't even figure out what you don't know about five star generals.

I had a group of mouthbrooding bettas in a 20 tall and they were producing plenty of fry. I had lots of plantwork in there and also intentionally let some hair algae grow. It worked well for my group of six in the 20 gallons, so how could 30 gallons be insufficient?

Again, if actually have reasons for mocking these ideas, I'll respect your odd post. Otherwise, go blow your steam off in the Lounge.

soo far the shipment still isnt in i think its gnna b closer to the end maybe beg of next month i did fill the tank with ecocomplete cycled it = ) and now gnna put plants
