Not bad for 10 bucks!

Nice steal!! Looks like an All-Glass. If so it should be either a 35 or a 60 (can't tell by the pics), which even used sell for many times your $10! As stated though, hard to stock. Even if a 60, fish can't be too large....4" or so. Good find though!!!!

definitely a planted tank, da's pretty much all an octagon tank is good for.

agreed

you'd be better off asking the people in the angelfish and discus forum, since I can't imagine many ca/sa cichlids really thriving in that shape of a tank.

definitely a deal though, just plan on some community fish or discus or angels to go in there.

:iagree:

Growout a colony of Marlboro Discus in that tank...

If want predator...Then go for Puffers.....A pair of Convict cichlids will fill up that Hexo nicely....Maybe an Ornate Bikir or two....

OR...

Plant it...Thick and bushy with a mother Amazon Sword Plant as the centerpiece....Have 2 dozen Dwarf Puffers swim amongst the underwater forest....Toss in a dozen Fancy Guppies....Have them breed, producing a natural food source for the Dwarves....

I like that idea imoport racer, are discus as hard to take care of like people say they are.I did the measurments, and the calculations say it is a 50 gallon.
