obliquidens?

I will agree that it is an obliquiden, or more precisely, Astatotilapia Latisfaciata. The first and second pic threw me off a bit because of the broken barring. The third pic brings it home though.
 
I believe Pharaoh has hit that one...but if the tail is red, that makes it a Hap. #44, thickskin. They look very much alike, except the 44's have a red tail, and the Astatotilapia Latifasciata doesn't. The red belly means male.

There are more differences int he two that just a red tail. With a Hap sp.44, they have blue faces. There are other, small distinct features that allow you to tell the difference. Feel free to take a look at the profiles and you will see what I mean.

well as u can see this guy is in bad shape and missing his tail so i will be sure to post better pics once it had healed so u guys can id it even better incase he is the hap sp 44
