It has probably been asked before and I just missed it, but who in all of Monsterfishkeepers land has the largest single specimen? Has that ever been determined? If not, it should rouse some healthy competitiveness...

It would be either arapaimag or zoodiver. I'd actually say it goes to zoodiver if you count his children at the zoo.

Right, the biggest single fish, not tank. Thanks for the clarification. Probably an arapaima I would guess, but I am curious to see what everyone has. Maybe also the largest of a specific specimen, like biggest snakehead, silver, oscar, widebar, etc...

For the record, I doubt any of mine would compete, so I dont list them.

Well, I definitely have the largest baryancistrus demantoides (fishbase is altering information because of this). Other than that, my fahaka's up there, but not full grown, so I bet there are larger on here. He is in at 11".

fishbase is pretty poor on max lengths for a lot of things. i think there is a thread somewhere for the biggest of each species, but i'm not sure who has got their own biggest fish on MFK
