Ocean Water---Pro's and Con's!

Still undecided.
Sounds safer to stick to my RO unit and salt mix. Alot cheaper for the ocean water though!!

I would you know what is in the water and what your adding to it ocean you never know.

If it's collected from an area where live rock is growing and Tangs are seen swimming, does that make a differrence??? This being the case i'm assuming any "con" would be microscopic and rare????

It really would be the same because so much water is pushed in and out of zone's it's hard to say what might be in the water.
