I would go with a standard tank myself. Better footprint and IMO better viewing having seen these setup I agree its hard to find a perfect angle for fish viewing.

nice looking well built tanks, there is nothing really good or bad compared to a standard foot print beyond the usual issues you know about such as total area for oxygen to diffuse etc. I thought they were really overpriced though. I have seen some set up to look great however and I almost got one for malawi cichlids but decided on a standard 5ft long 110 with an overflow to save cash.

as for viewing angle I never really had that issue, I mean its different looking through curved glass but it didnt seem like a real negative, I mean most aquarioms have curved glass tanks and I think they look great.

Wow it looks like I'm the only one who answered that actually has one. I got mine from Big Al's Oakville in 2007 and really love it. The distortion is of course there at some viewing points but overall it is a lot better than the comments made. Every friend that has seen it has liked it and felt the distortion was minimal.

I have a shoal of 13 elephant nose, a few neon blue rainbows and one black ghost knife in it. I use a FX5 Fluval. Never regretted ever buying it. I got mine on one of Al's sidewalk sales and saved a bundle. Threw in extra lights etc.
