Ocellinae is not a species. People need to get their **** together. If it's not natural, it's not a species. I really cant take these people looking to make a dollar, including Micheals boitner. Some hybrids turn out nice and it's a very select few but it's something that i can't support.

Nobody ever claimed its a "species". This is how he sells them: Cichla sp. „Ocellinae“ (ocellaris x melaniae).

Clearly showing that its a hybrid from ocellaris x melaniae, so what exactly is the problem? Also, theyre not expensive at all - so he doesnt praise them as the best Cichla out there or anything, lol.

Sp. is the singular abbreviation for species pal! So that means by him labeling them that way he did so on the above posted videos, he is declaring they are a species. Which is fact they are nothing but some in-tank produced hybrids.
