My thoughts exactly, last couple of winners have been massive let-downs.

I didn't bother submitting this month, it's about what fish you have more than the photo.

Voted for the Peacock Bass in 22 even though it's not perfect, hard to catch a clean shot like that. If 22/16/14 or possibly 12 don't win this month I'm not going to even bother loading another POTM thread.

I understand it's about fish and fun, but even a fellow moderator has commented on how it's less about the photo (POTM) and more about the fish in it. Last month was a perfect example of the Crenicichla bandwagon power.

Its considered trolling because you insist on stating the same thing over and over again regarding this contest. We have had this discussion so many times already. Yes, we know its not always based on the photo but stop crying and complaining about it so much, geez....

Theres also a huge difference between constructive criticism and simply complaining. If you politely suggested to the members that they re-consider their vote based on various photography elements then that would be a different story!
