Odd arowana?

My jars doing great thanks I'm not seeing much of my fish atm as I'm not living at my house while work goes on there , only see them when I feed or do wc's

i tried a sheet and that didnt help me sleep but also seemed to aggravate him. Rather than his chill cruse he would in a stressed state swim quickly around the tank with the sheet i ended up removing it and he went back to his cruse.

As a suggestion, see if you can gradually reduce light over a period of time, 30mins or so, trying to mimic sunset & dust, and then to total darkness. My larger fish also get spooked going light to dark, and total darkness to bright light, not to the extent you describe though.

I will look into that- mine is a fluval something or other led one but onl has day/moon setting

HAHAHAHA yes I've got to pretty much fit everything in around the tank mate , I am going to have to move it at some point though to plaster etc behind it and sort electrics out I'm not looking forward to that one :(

Yes online either amazon or e bay , there's plenty of shops in the states that stock them

I showed my friend your thread and he was laughing. Fish are more intelligent than we give them credit for: my betta dances, my knives check me out and my goldfish come for food when the lid opens.

Maybe a moonlight is best
